NUSHKI: Two explosions were reported in Balochistan’s Nushki and Panjgur districts on Wednesday, ARY News reported.
According to Parliamentary Secretary to the Balochistan CM on Information Bushra Rind, the blast in Nushki occurred near Frontier Corps (FC) building, while the one in Panjgur took place at an FC camp.
She confirmed that the blasts were followed by firing, which is still ongoing.
The impact of the blast in Nushki district shattered windowpanes and also caused damage to the Civil Hospital Nushki building, she added.
Soon after the blast, a heavy contingent of security forces reached the incident areas and cordoned it off to carry out an initial investigation.
No casualties have been reported so far while the nature of the blast was being ascertained, as per police sources.

The incident in Balochistan comes a week after ten soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred when terrorists attacked a security forces check post in Balochistan’s Kech district on the night of January 25.
According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing, the fire raid by terrorists occurred on the night of Jan 25-26.
“The terrorist fire raid on security forces check post in Kech, Balochistan on 25/26 Jan. During intense exchange of fire, 1 terrorist killed & several injured. While repulsing terrorists, 10 soldiers embraced martyrdom,” the ISPR said in a statement.
