Chaudhry Nisar not to turn his back on PM Sharif in testing times, says Saad Rafique

ISLAMABAD: With rumours doing rounds that Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has decided to part ways with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after 32 years of association following the widening fissure between the two in the aftermath of the Panama JIT report, a cabinet member took to Twitter to dispel the impression of any such rift, ARY News reported.

Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said in a tweet, “Chaudhry Nisar’s association with PM Mian Nawaz Sharif and PML-N spanned 32 years. They are together and will remain together.”

In another tweet he said, “Chaudhry Nisar will not retreat in testing and troubling times. Inshallah he will be in the front line. The opponent’s evil wishes will fail to succeed.”

He said, “Those who voice dissent over issues and bear with dissent are credited in the party. This is the greatness of democracy.”

Challenging the opponents, Khawaja said, “Serve the public and match the government’s performance, if you dare. Abuses, false allegations, cases and conspiracies cannot prevent them.”
