ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss important security related matters on Thursday.
According to sources privy to the meeting, COAS General Bajwa reached PM house, in Islamabad to meet Premier Imran Khan.
During the meeting, matters related to overall security situation of the country and ongoing operation against terrorism were discussed, said sources within government ranks.
Chief of Army Staff, General Bajwa also briefed prime minister about country’s overall security situation during the meeting.
Earlier today, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa while chairing 216th Corps Commanders’ Conference, had reiterated his resolve for continued support to all state institutions for peace, stability and progress of the homeland, in best interest of the people of Pakistan, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
