KARACHI: A driver of a ride-hailing service, Careem, was shot dead in the city’s DHA area on Saturday.
According to police, the man was identified as Saleem Thaheem. The cops say he was a Careem driver hailing from Sanghar.
The police said Thaheem left his house early in the morning and DHA authorities informed the police at 6:45am that his body was found near a local school.
Unknown miscreants fired shots at him and he suffered two bullet wounds that claimed his life. The police believe it wasn’t a robbery because his wallet was found on him with Rs5,000 in cash and both mobile phones were still in his vehicle.
