In a response to Indian aggression of Feb 26 at the Line of Control, two fighter jets of Indian Air Force were shot down by Pakistan Air Force in broad day light on Feb 27.

Pakistan had clarified that it hit the Indian targets as a demonstration of its defense capability towards the Indian provocation.

The South Asian giant, Pakistan, has repeatedly offered India to de-escalate recent tensions.

Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said, “Islamabad is actively playing its role to maintain peace and stability in the region, and New Delhi should play its part too as a much bigger segment in India is not in favour of war.”

Nonetheless, he warned the neighbouring country that Islamabad possesses the right to defend itself under international regulations in case of aggression.
