Entry to Gaddafi Stadium will not be allowed without CNIC: Najam Sethi

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Super League (PSL) Najam Sethi on Tuesday said entry to the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore would not be allowed on the day of final PSL match sans national identity card, ARY News reported.

“One thing I should clarify that the Punjab government has put condition on entry to the Gaddafi Stadium. Nobody will be allowed to enter without original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC). If somebody is younger then he should come with a guardian,” he said while flanked by Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Shahryar Khan and talking to media in Lahore.

To a query, he said both the finalist teams will have four foreigner players each.

To another query, he said around 10,000 seats were available for the tickets of Rs500.

PSL final will be held in Lahore on March 5.

Shahryar Khan said the PSL had received a tremendous support for hosting final match in Lahore, which was a welcoming sign. He said the mega cricket event would not only bring international cricket to the homeland but would also unite the nation.

“From poor to rich, everybody is excited about cricket events in Pakistan,” he said adding that regrettably the number of people wishing to attend the PSL 2017 final could not be accommodated.
