JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman to meet Nawaz Sharif tomorrow

 

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman will meeting former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Quaid Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Jati Umra on Tuesday (tomorrow), ARY News reported.

The decision Jati Umra meeting was made after a telephonic conversation between Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, sources said.

The duo will hold discussion over National Accountability Bureau (NAB) corruption cases, government’s attitude towards the opposition, sources added.

Moreover, Nawaz and Fazl will also exchange views on the overall political situation of the country, as well as meeting with the former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

The former premier Nawaz Sharif, who is currently on limited bail on medical grounds, had arrived at his Jati Umra residence on Sunday, where he met the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and his son Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Hamza Shehbaz during a weekly lunch and get together.

On March 21, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of Jamiat-e-Ulema (Fazl) had met former president Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Both the leaders expressed ‘dissatisfaction’ on the performance of the government.
