FAISALABAD: Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani said government has the mandate to deal with Taliban either by talks or a military operation, ARY News reported.
Speaking to media at Valima Cermony of his relative on Tuesday, Yousaf Raza Gillani said government has been authorized to deal with Taliban during the All Parties Conference (APC) and its their decision to carry on with the negotiation or to launch military operation. He denied about any contradiction between Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over Taliban issue.
The former Prime Minster avoided giving any comments regarding NRO about Gen. Rtd. Pervaiz Mushrraf but informed about expressing concerns over Pakistan Protection Bill.
Speaking about federal government’s policies, he said government should keep public’s benefit on priority.
“ PPP has done record development works during his era and Pakistan were exporting things unlike present government which doing import heavily ”, he added.
Yousaf Raza Gillani suggested that government should not privatize profit giving institutions of the country.
