Henry Cavill in talks for role in 'House of the Dragon': report

Hollywood actor Henry Cavill is reportedly in talks to play a role in the second season of Game Of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon.

A foreign news agency reported that the producers are trying to get the Man of Steel on board to play an unspecified role of the second season.

Earlier, the report of Elizabeth Olsen – who plays Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlett Witch in the live-action adaptation of Marvel Comics – confirmed to star in the season two.

House of the Dragon is based on major events that shaped House Targaryen and are an adaptation of writer George R.R. Martin’s novel Fire & Blood.

It is set 300 years before the events that unfolded in A Game of Thrones, the first instalment of the novel series A Song of Ice and Fire by the same author.
