Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has not respected International Cricket Council’s (ICC) deadline for announcing Champions Trophy squad as the defending champions are yet to name their team for the event.
India is the only team to miss out on deadline.
Tuesday, April 25, was the last day to announce squad for Champions Trophy. Pakistan revealed their 15 men for the campaign, but India failed to do so.

India have earlier threatened to pull out of the tournament as they are having a rift with the global cricket body on a number of issues, mainly on cut of revenues.
The delay in announcement of the squad is being seen as a pressure tactic from the Indian board. However, India are not mulling about any extreme step such as withdrawing from Champions Trophy.
The global cricket event is going to take place in England from June 1 to 18.
