Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma breaks silence on his fallout with fellow comedians which led them to quit his show.
On the promotional spree for his recently-released film ‘Zwigato’, Sharma finally addressed the reason why most of the regular cast members including Chandan Prabhakar, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Ali Asgar left ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

Talking about being insecure of his fellow comedians, the actor told the tabloid, “I’ve never felt insecurity. In fact, I’ve brought people on that I admired.”
“I used to be short-tempered, I’ll admit. It was in my blood; I was an extremist. I would love passionately, and when I was angry, I would really lose composure,” Sharma added.
“But I have improved.”
When asked about his rivalry with Sunil Grover aka Gutthi in particular, Sharma replied, “People say I have rivalries. But I have no rivalries with anybody, I am the one and only. Call me egotistical if you will. Ask them why they don’t want to work with me.”
“Yes, Sunil [Grover] and I had a falling out. But I’m on good terms with the rest of them,” he concluded.
Along with Sharma himself, the show currently in its fourth season, features Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti, Srishti Rode, Gaurav Dubey, Ishtiyak Khan, and Srikant G Maski, with Archana Puran Singh as a guest judge.

Meanwhile, ‘Zwigato’ – a drama flick about an ex-factory floor manager who is forced to work as a food delivery rider after losing his job – released in nationwide theatres yesterday, March 17. The title collected around INR15 lacs at the ticket windows on the opening day.
The film by Nandita Das stars Sharma with Shahana Goswami, Gul Panag and Sayani Gupta.
