KARACHI: A man was killed while his brother got wounded in a firing incident in the jurisdiction of Maripur police station early on Monday.
According to police, both the brothers were asleep in a warehouse near Maripur Gate No 5 when unidentified armed men sprayed them with bullets. As a result of the shooting, they both sustained critical bullet wounds.
They were taken to a hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The deceased was identified as Sajjad and the injured as Aijaz. They belonged to Naushero Feroze district of Sindh province.
A police official said a probe into the firing incident is ongoing, adding no heir of the victim siblings has emerged yet.
