Mommy captures ghostly figure on camera next to his son

A mum believes to have caught a ghost on camera while using a Snapchat filter on her son.

Donna Gill was filming her three-year-old son Jacob in a fun video at her home near Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. The ghost appeared as a disembodied figure but its eyes could still be easily seen in the horrifying video.

The toddler son can be seen cackling and making funny noises then suddenly eyes, ears and a nose appear next to him in the chilling video which are also detected by the Snapchat filter for three times.

The kid was ostensibly aware of presence of the supernatural being as he turns to his right where the face was seen.

The 35-year-old mum lives with her husband Steve, 41, and twin boys Jacob and Charlie, said the social media spectre was most likely a ghost which was named as ‘Gary’ by the twin children.

The mum said the latest spooky appearance was just one of a number of strange happenings which their family had experienced since they lived in another house.

She said: “He’s followed us from house-to-house we think, it all started when me and my husband lived in Selby four years ago and we used to hear bangs in the night.

“The scariest one was a bang on the bedside table which woke us both up. I used to think I imagined it, and before that there was rustling noises and things but then all of a sudden there was this bang.

“I did look into it and read things that said if you get a ghost and you’re not listening you’ll get these bang noises. So anyway, we kind of laughed about it.

“I have woken up and seen things, but you know I never know if that’s right or not, because you can wake up and sort of have hallucinations, can’t you?

“We moved to the house now in Rothwell, near Leeds, and we think ‘Gary’ has come with us.

“Jacob in the video doesn’t talk much, but Charlie his brother was the one that started talking about Gary, it was all of a sudden he mentioned the name.

“I remember thinking that’s a weird name because there’s not any Gary’s that they know of, it’s quite an old-fashioned name.”

Donna said, “the recent video, filmed just a few weeks ago, was interesting because it showed the hallway off the lounge where Gary often seems to be found.”

She said: “It carried on because when Charlie had to go on the naughty step on the stairs in the hallway he would start chattering away to someone and we’d be like ‘who are you talking to?’

“One of things that stands out is that my husband and I were sat in the lounge where you can see the front door, just like the video, and Charlie was there and leant over the sofa and stared down the hallway.

“He said ‘Oh Gary, Gary’ and then he leant back again and said ‘oh, Gary’s gone’. Then it went really quiet. I thought ‘oh my word’. It is scary sometimes.

“When they were both babies they both looked up to the ceiling and turned their heads to the right at the same time as if there was something there. That freaked me out.

“Just last week I was round at me sisters and we were leaving when Charlie said there’s a man in the car. Halfway home he was still saying there was a man in the car, and then he said ‘he’s gone into the clouds now’. For a three-year-old to think that up, it is a bit strange.”
