GUJRANWALA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Taufeeq Butt has been booked over creating hindrance during the plantation of 50,000 in one minute in Gujranwala.
As per the first information report (FIR), the subordinates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA, Taufeeq Butt snatched the banners and boards made for publicity of the attempt to break the world record of planting the highest saplings in one minute that was earlier held by India.
The case has been registered on the complaint of a PHA employee at the PS Dhalay against MPA Taufeeq Butt for threatening eight people during the plantation.
Last week, Pakistan had set a world record by planting 50,000 saplings in one minute in Gujranwala, Punjab.

As many as 13,000 students in Gujranwala had planted 50,000 saplings in just 60 seconds, setting a new record for the largest such plantation drive anywhere in the world.
Earlier, the world record of planting the highest saplings in one minute was held by India. India was holding the world record with 37,000 saplings in one minute, which now has been overtaken by Pakistan.
