LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) top leadership, Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, will visit Saudi Arabia this month to perform Umrah, ARY News reported on Sunday, citing sources.
Sources told ARY News that Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz will arrive in Saudi Arabia on April 8 and 10, respectively.
Meanwhile, PM Shehbaz Sharif and senior federal ministers are expected to visit Kingdom on April 25 or 26. The PML-N leadership will also hold consultative meetings along with performing Umrah, sources added.
Sources further claimed that the meeting will consult on Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan. A team of employees have reached the Kingdom for arrangements for the visit of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched efforts to organise a meeting between PM Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. The ministry was planning the prime minister’s visit to the kingdom, sources added.
It is pertinent to mention that Nawaz Sharif is living in England’s capital London due to health reasons.

Last year, it emerged that the doctors advised the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz against Umrah pilgrimage to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The doctors of Nawaz Sharif in London advised him not to visit the holy land owing to his health condition, sources said.
