American singer and husband of Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas opened up on the various nicknames given to him by paparazzi during a recent visit to India.
In a recent interview, Jonas finally broke the silence on all the viral videos of Indian shutterbugs addressing him as Nickwa, jiju (brother-in-law) and more on the red carpet.

Opening up on being called Nick jiju in India since her marriage to PC, Jonas said, “A lot of people do [call me jiju]. All the photographers [at the NMACC launch] on the red carpet were calling me jiju.”
When the interviewer further quizzed him about the viral ‘Ae Nickwa’, the singer replied, “Yes, I did hear that.”
“It was very good to be back. I love India. It has been a couple of years since I’ve been there because of Covid, so this was a really fun trip. So yes, great to hear the many nicknames I have now,” he added.

It is pertinent to mention that Indian actor-singer Priyanka Chopra and American musician Nick Jonas tied the knot in December 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie via surrogacy in January last year, as announced in their joint statement on social media.
Their visit to India last month for the launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center was the first since the birth of their daughter.
