Pakistan Day parade to recommence after seven years

Full dress rehearsal has also begun ahead of the Pakistan Day.

Joint staff headquarters in Rawalpindi, which oversees the three armed forces of Pakistan, will organize the parade.

The last military parade took place on March 23, 2007  during the tenure of Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf. However, since that year, no military parade took place owing to security concerns in the country.
