ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, ARY News reported, quoting well-informed sources.
According to details, the important meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad.
The sources familiar with the development said matters pertaining to national security and regional situation were discussed in the meeting.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Imran chaired a high-level meeting of the country’s civil and military leadership on the National Action Plan (NAP) to review the overall security situation in Pakistan after the deadly suicide bombing in Peshawar.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Jawed Bajwa, National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yousuf, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Chief Ministers of all provinces and other civil officers attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the current Afghanistan situation and security situation in Pakistan in wake of a recent bomb blast in Peshawar mosque said sources.
The huddle also reviewed progress on various parts of the National Action Plan, they added.
