Purported daughter-in-law of Akbar Bugti says death threats hound her

LAHORE: A woman named Wishah Abu-Bakar, claiming to be married to deceased Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti’s youngest son Shahzawar Bugti, has pleaded the authorities to heed the threats she is receiving or warned there will be hashtags after her name, too, if timely protection is not provided, ARY News learned Wednesday.

“I am the wife of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti’s youngest son Shahzwar Bugti,” Wishah Abu-Bakar says in the video messages she’s posted online to seek help from the alleged death threats she has so far received and could escape from.

Speaking in multiple self-recorded videos going viral on social media, the woman said she has been hiding for the past three months in Punjab’s capital from the alleged target killers sent to hound her on instructions of Akbar Bugti’s son Shahzawar.

Wishah referred to FIA cybercrime wing director Babar Bakhat in her video as well. She said if the FIA director doesn’t timely heed her appeal, she is most likely to meet the same fate as Noor Mukadam.

“There will be a hashtag seeking justice for my tragic murder as well,” she said.

He has done it before and I have been in hiding for the past three months, Wishah said.
