MUMBAI: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, has apparently given the showbiz industry a miss and chose family over a film career, but she continues to be in spotlight of the Indian media for being a finest designer.
She recently launched her independent jewellery line. While she has been the face of another jewellery brand with mother Neetu Kapoor in the past.
Riddhima at the time of launching last year confirmed the news saying, “Absolutely, our contract with them is over. Yes, I am launching my own jewellery line. I am not opening stores. It’s gonna be though media social and otherwise. This is very exclusive as I want to develop a personal relationship with people. We hear the Kapoor family is all set to promote their beti’s venture big time on social media soon.”
Riddhima stayed away from the silver screen and the reason of her cold shoulder to the B-Town has never been made public.
In a recent article about her
family, Riddhima said her dad totally adore her mom (Neetu) – “his world, universe, everything is my mother”. It’s the cutest and the sweetest because even today, he is so in love with her (touchwood!).“My dad is as honest on Twitter as he is in real life – he is a very straightforward and that’s what’s amazing because in today’s times, we need more people like him who are not afraid to speak their mind and are totally frank about certain issues, so kudos to him.”
