Social activist Ravindra Dwivedi has accused Salman and his bodyguard of criminally intimidating him on a flight. Ravindra also accused the Bollywood star of hurling abuses at him and stealing his documents.
Dwivedi disclosed that when he boarded the Jet Airways flight from Delhi to Mumbai last year on 4th November 2014, the star actor and his bodyguard confronted him. An altercation took place during which Salman snatched important documents from Ravindra which contained details regarding the death of BJP leader Gopinath Munde. The activist also alleged that he had approached airport authorities and narrated the incident to them, in hopes that they would take action against Khan. However, authorities turned a blind eye to his complaints and did not take any sort of action.
Andheri Metropolitan magistrate not only ordered an investigation into the matter and asked the police officials who failed to register the complaint, to register an FIR under section 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) and 392 (Punishment for robbery) and even ordered the Airport officials to register the complaint at the earliest.
It must be mentioned here that the muscled movie icon is already in hot waters for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run case as well as another legal trial pertaining to poaching. This news can not bode well for Khan, who is already under immense pressure when prosecution for the hit and run case refused to buy the confessional statement given by Salman’s driver, clarifying that it was not the actor who was behind the wheel.

It remains to be seen if Salman will spend time behind bars or will the actor walk away from these charges. An impending trial will also expose the fact that whether these charges of assault, robbery are true or trumped up. Salman will be seen in two upcoming movies Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
