PESHAWAR: One suspected terrorist, involved in an attack at a police mobile, was gunned down at Ring Road of Peshawar whereas his accomplice was arrested in an injured state here on Sunday, ARY News reports.
Unknown terrorists opened fire at a police vehicle as it was on a regular patrol duty at Badaber area. However, one terrorist was killed in the exchange of fire whereas his partner was severely injured.
According to initial investigation, the terrorists were wanted by the police for attacks on security personnel. Police sources stated that Kalashnikovs, pistols and foreign currency were recovered from the terrorists.
On the other hand, two terrorists were arrested and suicide jackets and explosive materials were recovered in a raid by Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) in the city of Mardan. According to sources, the terrorists were planning to carry out attacks in the city.
