ISLAMABAD: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur has urged the need to highlight soft image of Pakistan across the world for country’s development, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
This he said, while addressing a signing ceremony of memorandum of understanding (MoU) between National Bank and Track Pakistan in Islamabad.
He said the MoU is a positive step in a right direction as Pakistan is one of the countries having beautiful tourist’s sites in the world.
Gandapur also directed the NBP to provide small loans to people of Gilgit Baltistan to establish guest houses to promote tourism in the area. He said this will also increase business and employment opportunities.

The minister said a significant change will be witnessed after introduction of new Visa policy by the PTI led government in the country.
Ali Amin Gandapur said special focus is being given on infrastructure in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan to promote tourism in these areas.
Under the MoU, both institutions will take steps to present the soft image of Pakistan globally.
Students of international universities will be invited to visit Pakistan and NBP will provide financial assistance to the visiting students.
These students will help to promote soft image of the country at the international fora.
