RAWALPINDI: Finally the Indian Minister of External affairs revealed the truth about Balakot airstrike under compulsions of ground reality, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor.
Reacting to a statement of Indian External Minister Sushma Swaraj statement, on Thursday, the military’s spokesperson said that hopefully other false Indian claims of 2016 surgical strikes, denial of shooting down of two Indian Air Force jets by Pakistan Air Force and claim about downing of Pakistan Air Force F16 would be exposed.
According to Times of India, the Indian Minister, while addressing an event in Ahmadabad today said that “No Pakistan soldier or citizen died in Balakot air strike”.

Earlier, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, on February 27, had refuted all Indian claims of downing Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet inside arch-rival’s boundary, adding “Pakistan wants peace and India needs to understand war is a failure of policy.”
Holding an important press conference in the wake of Pakistan’s robust response to Indian aggression on Wednesday, the military spokesperson had stressed that Pakistan’s reaction of shooting down Indian fighter jets and arresting their pilots, could not be indicated as victory because “we only reacted in our defense and there are no victors in war.”
