Addressing a press conference at his residence, Hashmi said he was bound to respond to the party’s show-cause notice. However, the party is seeking response to the notice in a closed door meeting, while I am willing to respond publicly, he added.
“It will be a real democracy if people give their verdict in my case.”
He said the PTI was party of general masses and, “being its president, I want to present myself to the public and seek their decision [whether I made a mistake],” he stressed.
