The incident occurred in Shahnawaz Bhutto Colony’s seminary where a religious class was underway and the roof caved in. The injured children were immediately moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Hospital sources said five of the children were in critical condition. At the time of incident, at least 25 children were present at the seminary.
Rescue sources are still removing rubble to check whether other people are also trapped. Local administration has called for machinery to remove debris.
