According to details provided by rescue in-charge Dr. Azam, among the thirteen dead, seven were children. As many as ten people had died and several were deemed injured, as rescue teams were busy carrying out relief operations.
A Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tanker collided with a car and two Qingqi rickshaws owing to the fog, which caused an explosion. The LPG tanker exploded, causing a fire that engulfed nearby shops and vehicles.
