PESHAWAR: More than 80 shops were gutted when a fire broke out at Sarafa Bazaar earlier today, ARY News reports.
According to rescue sources, the fire erupted early morning and engulfed more than 100 shops in which 80 shops were completely reduced to ashes.
Rescue officials further said that the rescue work faced problems due to the narrow alleys. However, the fire was soon brought into control.
On the other hand, Sarafa Marker Association stated that gold worth of billions was in the shops due to which the shop keepers are facing a huge loss.
