Just when everyone thought that their marriage was over, Veena Malik and Asad Khattak were together again as Maulana Tariq Jameel persuaded the couple to end their differences.
The compromise occurred on Monday during ARY News show “11th Hour” as anchor Waseem Badami called the couple to present their side of the story and towards the end asked the religious scholar to persuade Veena Malik to forgive her husband.
Veena Malik, who was apparently quite angry over “Asad’s behaviour” with her during three years of her marriage claimed that her husband has this habit of apologising to her but repeating the same mistakes again.
“I haven’t spent a single day with peace after this marriage,” complained Veena Malik.
Asad Khattak also sought apology from her wife and asked Maulana Tariq Jameel to guarantee Veena that he will not behave badly with the actress again.
Veena Malik, out of her respect for Maulana Tariq Jameel could not say no to his request agreed to end her differences with Khattak. “I cannot question you, whatever you say is an order to me,” Veena told Maulana Tariq Jameel.
The actress had filed an application in a family court in Lahore seeking a divorce from Khattak over irreconcilable differences stating that they cannot live together.
The couple got married on December 25, 2013. They have two children, Abram and Amal, who till today were in Ms Malik’s custody.
