According to reports, three plots owned by Musharraf in Khayaban-e-Faisal and Beach Street-I have been seized.
The District and Sessions Judge South Karachi implemented the orders of Special Judge of Islamabad to confiscate Pervez Musharraf’s property.The Defense Housing Authority (DHA) has also informed the court regarding the seizure of former president’s property.
Last month, a special court in Islamabad hearing treason charges against Musharraf ordered authorities to freeze his bank accounts and confiscate his property.
Musharraf’s counsel said during the hearing that his client was currently undergoing a treatment abroad and so could not travel to appear before the court.
Former president, Musharraf had left Pakistan on March 18; following Supreme Court upheld the Sindh High Court (SHC) decision to remove his name from the exit control list (ECL).
