LAHORE: Poor visibility caused by fog has badly affected flight operations at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport as several flights have been delayed on Monday, ARY News reported.
As per details, the heavy fog has dropped the visibility at the runway of Lahore airport.
The departure of 12 PIA flights has been delayed and two flights were shifted to Islamabad airport from Lahore.
One Lahore-bound flight from Jeddah and the other from Abu Dhabi has been shifted to Islamabad.
PIA Dubai-bound flight from Lahore couldn’t take off because of dense fog in the provincial capital.

The heavy fog has dropped the visibility at the runway of Lahore airport.
Dense fog has blanketed different cities of Punjab, including Lahore, paralyzing routine life and disrupting road and air traffic.
There is a huge number of passengers at the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore because of the delay in flights.
The international flight operations between Riaz and Karachi are delayed as a result of fog.
