Pentagon says Paris massacre resembles attacks in Pakistan

Rear Admiral John Kirby, addressing a news conference here in Washington, termed terrorism as a joint challenge for Pakistan and United States. He stressed on cooperation between the two countries to curb terrorism.

He expressed concern over the free movement of terrorists in Pakistan.

“US ties with Pakistan and its armed forces are improving. There is no pressure on Pakistan from US in the operations against terrorist factions in the country”, he said.

The Pentagon spokesman added that the defence ties between the United States and India are important. He also said US State Secretary John Kerry is not carrying any message to his upcoming visit of India.
