LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab chapter's president, Aijaz Chaudhry has accepted the challenge of Geo TV's anchorperson, Iftikhar Ahmed to hold a debate, saying that it is his right to show mirror to Geo News. He further claimed that PTI will prove on May 11, that the people of Pakistan have rejected the current rulers of the state – ARY News reports.
Addressing a ceremony at Lahore High Court (LHC) Bar, with respect to the Foundation Day of PTI, Aijaz Chaudhry asked Iftikhar Ahmed to hold a debate with him in front of all the entire media and said, "it is my right to show a mirror to Geo TV in return of its misdeeds".
He told that on May 11, it will be proven that the people of Pakistan have rejected the present rulers of the state.
Aijaz further told that he did not come to know about rigging of polls, after a year, he was awaiting justice from courts.
The PTI provincial president demanded former Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Fakhruddin G Ibrahim to explain it to the nation, what did Riaz Kayani and Ramday do.
Speaking about Government's move to end circular debts, he alleged that the entire amount has now fallen into Sharifs' bags, following its way through Mian Mansha.
Aijaz Chaudhry also slammed the CM Punjab, saying that Shahbaz Sharif is now hiding himself behind Khwaja Asif, after making loud claims to end load-shedding within six months.
