Bilawal calls politics of sit-ins ‘non-serious’

The system should be allowed to continue for next five years, the PPP chairman said while talking to newsmen during a luncheon in Karachi.

Bilawal Bhutto called the politics of sit-its a non-serious act in view of the ‘Operation Zarb-i-Azb in Waziristan, flood ravages in Punjab, high flood threat in Sindh and hundreds of thousands IDPs needing help in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Replying a query he said the division of Sindh is out of question.

He said ‘Sindhi Taliban’ are nothing more than a hypothetical issue. Sindh has nothing to do with extremism. Taliban could not survive in Sindh, which is the land of love, peace and tolerance.

He said he wants to play his role in the parliamentary politics of the country and to contest election from the National Assembly constituency won by his mother Benazir Bhutto.

Bilawal Bhutto urged the government to take steps to ensure immediate release of Haider Gillani, a son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani, who was abducted during the election campaign.
