Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) sealed Cinepax Cinema, located at Federal B. Area, for not abiding the legal obligations of the contract.
KMC, in a statement, stated that the theatre was meant for educational purposes but it was transformed into a theatre.
It should be noted that Karachi Development Authority (KDA) had earlier sealed Sindbad Amusement Park over contract violation as well.
Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Siddiqui has said that more facilities will be sealed if they are found breaking the law.
