Fake accounts case: NAB shifts Dr Dinshaw to Islamabad for investigation

KARACHI: A suspect in the fake accounts case, Dr Dinshaw Anklesaria, arrested by the National Accountability Court (NAB) from Karachi has been moved to Islamabad for investigation, ARY News reported Wednesday.

Dr Dinshaw was arrested by the NAB team from his residence in Karachi’s Clifton area a day ago.

The suspect was first moved to NAB’s Rawalpindi office and later he was taken to Islamabad for interrogation.

He will be presented before the accountability court tomorrow (April 25) where NAB officials would likely seek his remand in the case.

Two days ago, the National Accountability Bureau had conducted raid at Naudero House and apprehended its in-charge Abdul Nadeem Bhutto in fake accounts case.

Sources said that Nadeem Bhutto was a close aide of Pakistan People’s Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and was working as his front man.

The anti-graft watchdog, in the light of the JIT report, conducted raid at the Naudero House, the sources said and added that Nadeem Bhutto allegedly withdrew money from a ‘benami account.’
