KARACHI: Indonesia is interested to enhance its economic relationships with Pakistan in the upcoming years at private & individual levels, as per the statement of Totok Prianamto, Consul General of Indonesia.
He expressed his point of view at a ceremony in Karachi on Monday, “The exchange of business delegations between the two countries is a proof of improvisation of trade & investment relationships.”
According to him, there is a timely positive elevation in the bilateral relations between Pakistan & Indonesia.
The consul general stated that Indonesia have potential in the tourism industry, due to enriched nature and its cultural bonding.
He further added, “Pakistan and Indonesia are enjoying excellent long-standing relations.”
According to his statements, both countries have strong historical bonds, which can be an establishment to further strengthen the bilateral relationship.
He said, “The friendly relations should be transformed into mutually rewarding partnership in the years ahead, particularly in areas of trade, economy and socio-cultural relations.”
Prianamto, focused on the point that Pakistan’s strategic location is exclusive for economic cooperation amongst all the regional countries as Pakistan proposed a logistics route for Indonesian investors who can easily access the local market, but can also benefit from the export potential of Pakistan by using the economic corridor.
He assured to work with Pakistan in order to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between the people of Indonesia and Pakistan, especially in Sindh, so as to cooperate for the progress related to mutual remuneration.
Furthermore, the Indonesian consulate also supported some proposals which are related to education and social cultural promotion, for a better and strong relationship between the two countries.
