KOT ADDU: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan is to address a public gathering here in South Punjab today.

In an apparent move to garner support for the upcoming general elections in 2018, the PTI leaders have accelerated their activism across the country.

All arrangements have been finalised as the public meeting is expected to kick-off around 5pm in the evening before dusk. The city administration has inspected all security arrangements for the event by late night, besides deploying police personnel for the PTI’s political event.

The organizers have set up a separate entry point to the venue for the women participants.

The district-level party leaders, workers, and supporters have already started arriving at the venue as Imran Khan has urged the public to attend the PTI rally.
