According to the leave notification, Eid-ul-Azha (Feast of Sacrifice) holidays will begin on Monday September 12th till 14th September. The federal government has not announced a closed day on the third day of Eid.
All government office will reopen for public dealing from 15th September.
The State Bank of Pakistan has directed the presidents of all commercial and micro-finance banks to remain open on Saturday (10th September) in order to facilitate their customers.
Eid-ul-Azha celebrated on the 10th of the Zilhajj-the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar- to commemorate the Sunna of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S).
