MANILA: A video of a “friendly” crocodile begging for scraps from villagers cleaning fish is going rounds on the internet and this is not terrifying one that usually happens in case of a wild predator encountering humans.
A resident of a village in the Philippines recently shared video of a “friendly” crocodile begging for scraps from villagers cleaning fish.
The video shows the crocodile’s deadly jaws only feet away from the villagers as they sit on the dock cleaning fish.
The crocodile does not show aggression toward the humans and patiently waits for pieces of fish to fall near it. The reptile even allows a villager to splash it on the nose.
“Sometimes we clean fish here. This crocodile is friendly and waits for scraps,” the filmer wrote.
