Addressing the media persons here, Javed Hashmi said, “I came here to meet my children, as I am departing to China for the sake of medical treatment”.
He added, “I was on-board in all the decisions of the party, while last night when the party chief, Imran Khan set out to meet the Army Chief, I was over there and was happy that the things were heading in a positive direction, without any bloodshed as it was feared by many”.
Hashmi said his statement that politicians should have resolved the current political crisis themselves and they should not have asked the military for mediation, was given as an elder. “It did not mean having an objection”, added the senior PTI leader.
He also criticized the media for disseminating news based on rumors and asked it to exhibit maturity on such a sensitive issue.
