The incident took place in Kot Lakhpat area where 22-year-old Ashfaq entered inside the house of his love-interest and starting firing indiscriminately.
Sources revealed that Ashfaq entered the house of the girl named Mehwish and pointed his gun at her. However, her sister interfered and the bullet struck and injured her seriously.
Ashfaq who hailed from Pattoki later committed suicide inside her house after shooting himself as well.
The father of the girl claimed that Ashfaq forcefully entered their house.
The Police have expressed doubts over the alleged suicide and said that investigations are currently underway.
