In a statement this morning, the PIA spokesman regretted inconvenience caused to all passengers due to strike by the airline workers.
According to some reports, PIA staffers are coming back to their duties. They said that 400 Umrah pilgrims will be brought back through Saudi Airlines.

Meanwhile, the government appreciated commitment of PIA staff and resumption of operations.
The statement said government highly regards the PIA employees for realizing plightsof pilgrims stranded in Jeddah.
On the other side, PIA’s Joint Action Committee head Captain Sohail Baloch said government was harassing aircraft engineers and cabin crew through police.
He said police were sent to employees homes and they were bludgeoned to join duties.
