Police official Mohammad Ameen was targeted by unknown armed men in the jurisdiction of Gawalmandi Police Station on Sunday evening after he was returning home from duty, police sources said.
Shooters managed to escape from the crime scene leaving the victim policeman dead.
The deceased cop’s body was shifted to Civil Hospital for procedures.
