The Met Department had forecast rain and thundershowers for the metropolis on Thursday and Friday. Clouds did hover over Karachi yesterday briefly but the thundershowers did not come. Around 07:30 am, certain parts of the city witnessed a light drizzle especially in the District South.
Soon thereafter a rainbow appeared and was visible towards the southwestern side – over many parts of District South especially Clifton and Bath Island. The rainbow appeared on the sky for a brief ten minutes and then it disappeared.
