The minister refused to work following differences with the secretary and directed rest of the staffers to do so until his return from abroad.
Bugti said the chief secretary’s behavior towards ministers is ‘inappropriate’, while the provincial bureaucracy is also ignoring members of the Balochistan cabinet in the budget.
Sources, on the other hand, said that the chief secretary had declined to accept minister’s pressure pertaining to transfers and appointments. The minister closed his office after his complaints went unheard.
It was further reported that some other provincial ministers are also displeased with the attitude of the top government functionary.
