ISLAMABAD: Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to the Prime Minister, said that the bilateral trade between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates has exceed more than 10 billion dollars on Thursday, ARY News reports.
Speaking at a press conference with the Foreign Minister of UAE, Sartaj Aziz stated that Pakistan is sustaining strong economic links with the UAE.
Before the press conference, the two officials signed a Joint Ministerial Commission agreement.
During the media briefing, the Foreign Minister of UAE stated that Pakistan is an important country as millions of Pakistani nationals are settled in the Emirates. He ensured that UAE will assists Pakistan is alternative energy sources.
Answering a question, he further said that UAE considers the relationship of Pakistan as a gesture of goodwill.
Sartaj Aziz claimed that a business council will be called to increase the economic ties between the two states. He added that Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, will tour the United Arab Emirates soon.
He further stated that visa problems and many other issues are being solved by the two countries.
