ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has urged the member states of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to play an active role for the support of Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the realization of right to self-determination.
Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua while briefing OIC Ambassadors in Islamabad on Tuesday said that Indian forces are violating human rights in occupied Kashmir and also violating ceasefire agreement at the Line of Control and the Working Boundary.

“These violations have resulted in loss of 200 civilian’s lives and injuries to 20,000 Kashmiris. More than 150 people are permanently blinded by Indian pellet gun shots deliberately,” she said.
The foreign secretary also invited the attention of OIC Ambassadors over the incident of using an innocent Kashmiri as a human shield.
