LAHORE: The appointment of Imtiaz Ahmed as Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday (today), ARY News reports.
The petition was filed by a civilian named Saad Rasool. It is stated in the petition that the Imtiaz Ahmad is serving as the Additional Secretary in the Interior Ministry.
It is further stated in the petition that it is illegal that Imtiaz Ahmed has been given the additional charge as Chairman NADRA.
The petitioner has pleaded the court to outlaw the appointment of Imtiaz Ahmed as NADRA chief.
