PESHAWAR: A judge of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Ayub Khan Marwat was shot and injured on Thursday morning in a deadly attack, ARY News reported.
Justice Ayub Khan Marwat got injured when some unknown motorcyclists opened fire on his vehicle in Hayatabad area of Peshawar.
According to police, the justice was on his way to the high court when his vehicle came under attack.

He was rushed to a private hospital in Hayatabad where his condition was stated to be stable.
A heavy contingent of police had reached the scene of the incident to collect evidence.
Police officials said Marwat had received two bullets, while his driver was also injured.
In August 2018, the vehicle of a district and sessions judge had come under attack in Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Unknown assailants had fired at district and sessions judge Malik Inayat Ali’s vehicle in Tanger area of Diamer. A heavy police contingent reached the scene of the incident and collected further evidence.
Police had said the judge was safe in the incident but his vehicle was badly damaged. Police had launched a search operation in the area to arrest the attackers.
